C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, polished, the covers with an engine-turned and engraved repeat-pattern border. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover for viewing the movement. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and red painted Arabic five minute numerals, inner red painted 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 44 mm., 20???, nickel plated, ?wavy line? decoration, 29 jewels, some in gold screwed chatons, wolf?s tooth winding, gold train, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band.
