Notes

Montre bracelet "ouvrante" , Breveté S.G.D.G. Manufactured under a Patent granted to the firm of Leon Hatot, this concern wristwatches with the dial concealed beneath an hinged spring loaded cover. The intention was to apply an enamelled or engraved monogram, although few of the surviving examples have in fact been decorated. A similar watch in yellow gold was sold by Antiquorum on 21 April 1996, lot 298.
