C. Two-body, "fermée type" with curved-in edge, band pierced and engraved with flowers and foliage, polished back and front cover. D. Gilt metal with radial Roman numerals and half-hour divisions, revolving alarm disc in the center with an engraved petal rosette and steel "fleur-de-lis" hour pointer. Steel alarmsetting hand. M. 39 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full plate, baluster pillars, fusee and gut, verge escapement, circular steel foliot, small cock (later), ratchet wheel mainspring set-up with finely pierced and engraved click, alarm mechanism driven from fixed barrel pierced and engraved with floral motifs, steel train and double-ended hammer. Movement signed. Diam. 52 mm. To be sold without reserve
