Verger, France, movement by Cyma Watch Co., made in the 1930's. Fine and unusual lacquered silver, 18 ct. gold, and malachite-set Art-Deco handbag buckle incorporating a built-in watch.

C. silver shaped rectangular buckle, lacquered in black, with gold bezel and shutters opening to disclose the dial by means of an onyx set 'faux' crown at 9 o'clock, oposite the matching winding crown. D. matt silvered with Arabic numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. rhodium plated 8"', 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Signed on the movement, Verger Master mark on the case. In very good condition. Dim. 42 x 43 mm.
