C. Shaped black-painted wood with polychrome flower decoration, glazed door, gilt frame to the door and dial, pierced gilt bronze feet of strapwork with entwined foliage, gilt metal shoulder decoration and beading of scrolled leafforms, top mount of an arched recessed arcade with central crowned lion's head mask with trailing swags. Base of door with applied gilt metal trophy of a crossed quiver of arrow and flaming brand over a laurel wreath. Pediment surmounted by a gilt bronze urn with swags. D. White enamel (hair line cracks), Arabic minute and Roman hour numerals; pierced, chased gilt brass hour and minute hands. M. Brass, rectangular plated, two train, going barrels to both trains, Neuchâteloise striking work within the back plate, external locking plate, verge escapement, flat bob pendulum with silk thread suspension, striking on two bells. Signed on the dial. In good condition. Dim. 74 x 41 x 14 cm.
