Verger Frères, Paris, No. 9426, made for Linzeler & Marchak (Paris), circa 1926. Extremely fine lacquered silver, mother-of-pearl and chalcedony, eight day going, quarter repeating time piece with original key.

Rectangular, the side panels with a combination of different kinds of mother-of-pearl in a floral design, the face with red lacquered Chinese numerals on border of the dial aperture, pink quartz cabochon and onyx set repeat button on the top. D. Very fine combination of different kinds of mother-of-pearl in a floral design and centred with a dromedary. M. Rectangular gilt brass, " Nocturne" with going barrel, straight fine lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs. Signed on a gold plaque applied inside the back door, Verger master mark and serial number on the border inside the back door. In very good condition. Dim. 71 x 48 x 38 mm.
