Tiffany & Co., New York, French, made for the American Market, circa 1890. Fine and unusual eight day going, hour and hall hour striking carriage clock, with cloisonné enamelled case made by Tiffany.

C. Gilt brass, designed as a bracket clock with four turned baluster columns, almost entirely decorated, including the dial, with champlevé enamelled decoration of stylised flowers and ogival panels. D. Decorated en suite with gilt brass chapter ring with gilt Roman numerals on raised blue enamel plaques. Blued steel fancy hands. M. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, platform straight fine lever escapement, bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Striking on gongs. Signed by Tiffany on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 20 x 12 x 10 cm, excluding the handle.
