Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, keyless pendant watch with matching chatelaine decorated with a coat-ofarms surmounted with a Ducal pearl and gem-set crown. In original fitted box.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, the back with a blue champlevé enamelled monogram surmounted with a Ducal crown. Fine chatelaine with the arms of Countess Laury-Molinet flanked by two standing lions and surmounted with the gem-set crown, D. White enamel with Roman numerals on a light blue chapter ring. Gold Breguet hands. M. 13"', gilt brass, 12 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Signed on the cuvette. hl very good condition. Diam. 34 mm.

Martin Molinet (1803-1876). Ingénieur des Ponts et Chaussées, became Directeur des Ponts et Chaussées et du Génie and was made Earl by the Emperor Napoleon III on 4 May 1870. He married Adèle Augustine Laury who died in Saint Germain in November 1891.
