Not signed, Swiss, specially made for H.W. Bernstein & Co., circa 1900. Magnificent,18 ct. gold, enamel and diamond and ruby-set hunting-cased, keyless minuterepeating, "petite sonnerie" clockwatch with carillon on three gongs.

Four body, massive, "bassine et filets" with chased bow, the band with red and blue champlevé translucent enamel decoration, cover and back with fine diamond and ruby inlaid spiral rosettes centred with ruby framed large old cut diamonds, the borders with diamond and ruby framed green champlevé enamelled decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" bands. M. 19"', gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 39 jewels, partly in screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking hours and quarters on three gongs with three hammers, strike/silence optional lever by the bezel. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
