Not signed, Swiss, made for the Indian Market, circa 1900. Very fine and rare 18 et gold and enamel, diamond and gem-set hall hunting-cased keyless minuterepeating "petite sonnerie" clock watch with carillon on three gongs.

Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", band with engraved decoration, the cover with elaborate blue, green and red champlevé translucent enamel over engine-turning, inlaid with rose-cut diamonds, rubies and emeralds, scarlet translucent enamel chapter ring over engine-turning with white enamel Roman numerals on the dial aperture border, the back with a fine diamond framed oval painted scene of tiger hunting with outer ruby and emerald inlaid decoration matching that of the cover. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" bands. M. 19"', gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 29 jewels, partly in screwed settings, straight fine lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking hours and quarters on three gongs with three hammers, strike/silence optional lever by the bezel. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. In very good condition. Diam, 56 mm.
