Not signed, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1890. Fine and rare, small 18 ct, gold and enamel hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch with centre seconds.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", caver and back polished with engin-turned borders, and decorated with champlevé translucent enamelled Paradise birds and Canterbury be11s, small engraved monogram on the cover. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and seconds ring, continuous gilt half pour divisions. Blued steel "spade" hands. M.14"', gilt brass, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 39 mm.
