Not signed, Swiss, made for the Indian Market, circa 1900. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", band and borders engraved in a vermicelle pattern, the cover painted with a horse racing scene in a mountain landscape with an opalescent sky, outer champlevé engraved decoration on a red translucent enamel over engine-turning, the back with a lake side landscape, an Indian Palace on the background, the border with a decoration matching that of the cover. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "s ade" bands. M. 20"', gilt brass half plate, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 59 mm.
