P. Orr & Sons, Madras, made by Reuge, made for the Indian Market with London hallmarks for 1884. Fine and unusual keyless musical automaton watch with centre seconds.

C. Four body, massive "bassine et filets", polished, marked "L.W." (Louis Weill). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and seconds ring, the centre painted with a mountain landscape, an automaton gentleman seated on a rock on the left, playing the violin. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Frosted and gilt double train with differential winding, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Musical train with pin cylinder and 35 tooth comb playing two tunes at will: Sweet Hearts and Taza bu Taza. Signed on the back plate. In excellent condition. Diam. 57 mm.
