Maison B. Haas Jne. , Genève - Paris, No. 1753, made for the Spanish or South American Market, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, keyless minute repeating watch with automaton Jacks.

C. Four body, massive "Bassine et filets" fully engraved with a foliage decoration, the back centred with a bow, the cover with a blank escutcheon, flanked by figures of automaton Jacks. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Small enamel with Roman numerals on light blue translucent ground over engine-turning, dark blue centre and subsidiary seconds. The dial is flanked by two automaton figures of nude virgins striking hours quarters and minutes on two bells, over the dial plate painted with a forest landscape. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. Glazed 19"', nickel plated, 33 jewels partly in screwed settings, counterpoised straight fine lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
