Helfried Meyer, Steinbeck/Luhe, Germany, made in 1986. Very fine 18 ct. gold, keyless pocket chronometer with one minute tourbillon, an improved reproduction of the half-flying tourbillon made after that executed for Hitler at the German Horological School, under the direction of Alfred Helwig.

C. Three body, massive "pommes et filets", polished. D. Matt silver with applied gold indexes, sunk subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Blued steel "diamond" bands. M. Glazed 20"', rhodium plated three-quarter plate, "fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, two barrels with differential winding, lateral lever escapement underslung, brass-invar Guillaume balance, free sprung balance spring with terminal curve. Flying carriage of Helwig type as improved by Spetzler with the top pivot maintained by a cock with diamond endstone. Signed on the movement. In very good condition with original letters and papers, including a copy of the plan drawing of the carriage. Diam. 56 mm.

This watch was made, including the case, by Helfried Meyer in 1985/1986. It is an improved copy of that made in 1932/1933 and presented to Hitler, illustrated by Reinhard Meis in Das Tourbillon, fig. 331-336.
