Audiguet, No 45, case No 1059 made for J.L. Roehrich, circa 1950. Very fine and rare tonneau shaped, 18ct gold lady's wristwatch with 18 ct gold linked bracelet.

C.signed Audemars Piguet, massive, polished, " bombé" sides, teardrop lugs, dedicated back. D. mat silver with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals. "Bâton" gold hands. M. 5 "' rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 2 positions, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Dim. 17 x 29 mm. The submakes "Audiguet" and "Apco" were created in 1945 to provide to the Manufacture an second strength on the Market. From 1947, these watches were made with "ébauches" by Ebauches SA. A similar watch is published in "Audemars Piguet", p. 38.
