C. Outer double body, chased with flowers and scrolling foliage, the back repoussé with the celebrate scene depicting Diogenes in his barrel, with Alexander. Inner double body, bassine, polished. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with elaborated pierced pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass balance with mock pendulum; flat balance spring, fine silver Dutch cock with pendulum aperture, chased with a representation of Moïse, with the motto: "Domini Mihi Adjutor". Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
