Not signed, (Swiss), circa 1820. Fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, quarter repeating automaton ring-watch with visible balance.

C. Two piece, rectangular with chamfered corners, the band with blue and red champlevé enamelled decoration, polished bezel with rock crystal glass, the back with a slide covering the winding holes. D. Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued steel hands. The blue enamel dialplate with a circular aperture for the visible diamond-set plain four arm balance. Applied on either sicle of the dial and balance aperture small Cupid automaton Jacks strike hotus and quarters on two bells. M. Shapcd inverted gilt brass with going barrel, cylinder escapement. Repeating on two bells with slide on the border and repeating work on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 36 x 21 mm.
