J. B. in Zug, Swiss, late 17th Century. Fine and rare gilt brass paste set, hour striking clock-watch.

C. Double body bassine, the paste-set bezel with hatched decoration, the back engraved with a formal decoration, the band pierced and chased with foliage. D. Silver champlevé with Roman numerals and "fleurs-de-lys" half hour divisions, the centre engraved with foliage. Blued steel " beetle" single hand. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with turned baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, small silver cock pierced and engraved with the profile head of a warrior. Hour striking on a bell with gilt brass fixed barrel and count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
