Not signed, French, circa 1828. Fine and very unusual gilt brass, eight day going, hour and half hour going musical transportable dock of "Capucine" type, presented in 1824 to An. Rouchon, Capitaine au 11ème Léger, when he was awarded the "Légion d'Honneur"

C. Rectangular with brass tassel feet and finials, the front face engraved with flowers, bezel chased with floral decoration, an owl, a cock and the dedication dated 1824. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals (slightly chipped on the winding hole borders). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass posted frame, three train with going barrels, anchor escapement, short pendulum with silk suspension, striking train with locking plate, striking on a be11, built-in two tune musical train with pin cylinder and 18 groups of three vibrating steel blades. In good condition. Dim. 24 x 10 x 10 cm.
