Not signed, French, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze eight day going, "grande and petite sonnerie", quarter repeating carriage dock with porcelain panels.

C. Gilt bronze "Anglaise riche" with Corinthian columns, the porcelain sicle panel painted with figures of "petits marquis" in a garden, glazed top and back door. D. Enamel with Arabic numerals, painted with two marchionesses, sat in a garden. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. Brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and regulator. Striking, repeating on gongs with button on the top and " grande and petite sonnerie/ silence" optional lever in the base. In good condition. Dim. 16 x 10,5 x 9 cm, excluding the handle.
