q 150 Berthoud & Favre, London, No. 10036, made for the Chinese market, circa 1800. Fine and unusual gilt bronze, astronomical, centre seconds table time-piece with date, age of the mood and 1/5 second "foudroyante.

C. The movement is supported by a lion, an eagle and foliage on the top, the base designed as a rock, with roots and further vegetation. D. Eccentric white enamel with Roman numerals, outer seconds ring on the bezel's border, subsidiary dials for date, age of the moon and "diablotin". M. Gilt brass full plate with turned pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock with ruby end-stone. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition.
