Lefevre, Successeur de De Belle à Paris, circa 1810. Very fine bronze and ormolu eight day going, hour and hall hour striking dock.

C. Bronze base on six gilt bronze turned feet, palm-leaf border, very fine "bas relief" with a hunting scene, flanked by gilt bronze applied hunting trophies on each side. Fine gilt bronze figure of Diane the Huntress, sitting above the movement, a greyhound laying on her right Giit bronze "fleuron" bands. M. Brass circular with going barrels both for the going and the striking train, anchor escapement, short pendulum, silk suspension. Striking on a beil with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 56 x 42 x 17 cm.
