Very fine 18 ct. pink gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket chronometer witht Bulletin de marche très satisfaisant with 116.7/300 marks, delivered by the Observatory of Geneva on 13 February 1889, with photocopies from the records of the timing contest organised at the Observatory of Geneva in 1888.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Gold cuvette, engine-turned on the border. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" bands. M. 19"', nickel plated, " fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels partly in screwed gold settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted by H.R. Ekegren, balance spring with terminal curve with swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
