Swiss, made for the Spanish or the South American market, circa 1870. Fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased, double face keyless calendar watch.
C. Five body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned (rubbed), bezels and band chased with foliage decoration, the cover engraved with the monogram "T.P.H." and foliage decoration. D. Silver on the front, fully engraved and with a gold floral decoration, Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. White enamel on the back with the date on the border of the bezel and two subsidiary chapters for the months and days of the week. M. 19'-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Trade mark in form of a coat of arms punched on the movement. In good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
