Notes

Oval watches are extremely rare, even more so when made with a shaped movement. Very unusual calibre of high quality, drawn from that invented by Lepine as early as 1775, with free standing barrel, partly skeletonised with polished steel bridges, event the gongs are of especially high quality, being partly blued.
