Two-part, the ribbed back decorated with panels of scarlet translucent enamel over engine turning with gold paillons and sections of engraved gold musical trophies and foliage on white champleve enamel ground with black borders, sound board painted en camaieu with figures in a pastoral landscape, cock visible through the sound pole with rose-diamond set border, blue enamelled key board, and head with gold keys and wire strings, chain suspension. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Blued steel "cathedrales" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat spring and regulator. Gilt brass continental cock. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 64 x 31 mm.
