Not signed, Geneva, circa 1820. Fine and very unusual 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl-set pendant watch with visible balance, in the form of a winged cartouche.

C. Double body, designed as a cartouche with a pair of wings with translucent enamel over engin turning, blue on the front, red on the back, split pearl set borders, the back with an oval enamel spring loaded enamel lid disclosing the movement, finely painted with summer flowers, outer blue enamel and engraved pearl-set decoration. D. White enamel with Roman nmerals. Blued steel arrow hands. Blue enamel dial plate with leaf decoration and a circular balance aperture. M. Gilt brass oval inverted full plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, diamond-set three-arm balance, flat balance spring. In very good condition. Dim. 49 x 26 mm.
