C. Three part, underside realistically chased and engraved with legs and underbody, wing covers entirely decorated in green translucent enamel over engine turning, the thorax and eyes decorated with rose-diamond; sprung loaded wing opens from a button in the base to reveal the dial. Hinged gold cuvette engraved: Exposition 1867, a portrait miniature frame on the interior. D. White enamel with Roman mimerais. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Shaped, frosted and gilt bar caliber with going barrel, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement with plain three-arm balance, flat balance spring and regulator. In very good condition. Dim. 52 mm. overall. 28 mm. wide.
