The Edward Howard "Blue Sapphires" No. 55, made in 1912. Extremely fine 18 ct. gold, keyless watch. One of the very limited series of 300 top quality watches, sold at the price of $350.00 each, in the original rose-wood fitted box, with original extra mainspring and certificate.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"' frosted and gilt, special bar calibre, jewelled with 23 large blue sapphires, Straight fine lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with patented special adjustment, free sprung blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
