?Split Seconds? J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. Made circa 1910. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold watch with split-seconds chronograph and register.
C. Four-body, ?demi-bassine?, solid, polished, concealed hinge, hinged gold cuvette. D. Double sunk, white enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds and minute register dials. Gold ?Louis XVI? hands. M. Cal. 18''', nickel, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometer regulator, visible chronograph works, split-seconds mechanism under the dial. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 48 mm.
