Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", the bezel chased with decoration, the back with a fine enamel portrait of Beethoven painted by Riocher, framed by champlevé engraved laurel branches on a black enamel ground, linked at the base by a lyre. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Gilt satiné with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "feuilles" hands. M. 17"', rhodium plated, 18 jewels, straight lire lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
