Courvoisier Frères, Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss, circa 1850. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, diamond-set snuff box with a built-in watch.

Double body, rectangular, entirely engraved with decoration of various pattern, the cover with blue translucent champleve unes (slightly restored), the lid of blue translucent enamel over engine turning with a fine rose-diamond inlaid branch of flowers. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial plate. In very good condition. Dim. 73 x 43 x 13 mm.
