Le Phare (Barbezat-Baillot, Locle), made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl-set, keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets" with split pearls set bezels, the band with champleve enamelled decoration, the back of blue enamel, painted with a maiden in a garden with a young girl. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gilt brass paste-set hands. M. Glazed 18"", nickel plated, 32 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. Chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
