J. Ullmann & Co., Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tientsin, Swiss, made for the Chinese market, circa 1880. Fine and unusual 14 ct. gold, keyless minute repeating, double face, moon phase astronomical watch with Chinese triple calendar.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned with reeded band. D. White enamel on the front with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. White enamel on the back with dates, days of the week and months in Chinese characters, and moon phase aperture. Blued steel hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt three quarter plate, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, trade mark on the case. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
