Outer double body, the bezel chased with flowers and pierced with foliage, the back repoussé with a mythological scene within a rocaille frame, the border chased with flowers and pierced with foliage. Inner bassine pierced and engraved with a mask and inhabited foliage. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass English style cock.Gilt brass dust cap. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dust cap and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 49 mm.

Eminent maker, Isaac Larpent, Copenhague, was born in 1711 and died in 1769. Master in 1745, he started a watch factory at Rôskilde with Joergen Jiirgensen.
