C. Double body gilt brass inner and outer, both plain. Gilt brass dust cap. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold arrow hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, unusual form of pivoted detent escapement, in which the pivot is at the extremity of the detent where a foot would be if a spring detent had been employed , plain steel three-arm balance, flat blued steel balance spring and diamond endstone. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 63 mm.
