Vulliamy, London, No. 1347, mid-19th Century. Elegant, wooden-cased, eight day going, timepiece mantel clock, with Vulliamy's "halfdead" pendulum escapement.

C. Rosewood, ebonised mouldings, canted corners to doors, glazed three Bides, side windows with gilt brass frames, front door with silvered, bevelled ( rame. D. Silvered brass, plain centre, decorated above and below with flowing foliate engraving, Roman chapters, blued steel "moon" hands, square for "rise-and-fall" regulation above chapter 12. M. Brass rectangular, fusee and chair, half-dead escapement, steel pendulum, heavy brass bob, hold-fast. "Bise-and-fall" regulation. Signed on dial and movement. In very good condition. Dim. 21.5 x 13 x 11 cm.
