C. Four body "consular" with fixed cuvette and hinged bezel, polished cover and back, marked "'F. C." (Thomas Carpenter). D. Egg-shell enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold " pear" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, duplex escapement, plain gilt brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator and unusual bimetallic compensaion curb on the index, diamond endstone. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
