C. Brass bound three body mahogany box with external brass handles, brass corners and mountings, glazed upper section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimballed suspension, the bezel with domed glass. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Gold "spade" hands. M. Brass spotted ( slightly worn) three-quarter plate with mainframe and sub-frame, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chais and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, two armed bimetallic compensation balance with cylindrical weights and timing screws, diamond end-stone, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dial diam.115 mm. Dim. 20x19x19cm.
