Barwise, London, un-numbered, early 19th Century. Good, small and attractive wooden-cased, eight day going mantel clock striking hours on a bell anchor escapement and pendulum.

Ebonised, glazed front and back, "fish-scale" side frets over red linings, bell top, small gilt brass carrying, handle, turned and knurled gilt-brass feet, gilt brass framing to doors and frets, repeat Gord. D. Broken-arch, silvered-brass, Roman chapters, blued steel "moon" hands, dials for regulation and strike/silent in arch. M. Brass rectangular, fusees and chains to both trains, anchor escapement, brass pendulum, with holdfast rise-and-fall pendulum. Signed on dial and movement . In good condition. Dim: 26 x 15.5 x 11.5cm.
