Barwise, London, un-numbered, mid-to-late 19th Century. Good, small brass cased eight day going carriage clock, striking and repeating hours on a gong, cylinder escapement.

C. Gilt-brass, pillared, glazed three sides and top. Much decorative engraving showing characteristics of the work of Thomas Cole. D. White enamel, engraved, gilt brass surround with malachite panels behind, shaped apertures, Roman chapters, blued steel "spade" hands. M. Brass rectangular, fusees and chains to both trains, maintaining power on going side, platform cylinder escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring, ruby endstone to balance rock. Repeat-button. Signed on dial and movement. In good condition. Dim.15 x 11.5 x 9.5 cm. excluding handle.
