C. Three body, massive, "pomme et filets" with engine-turned back, reeded band and integral dome, marked "C.B.H." (Cornelius Brook). D. Silvered with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds and up-anddown scale. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass three-quarter plate with turned pillars, 13 jewels in screwed settings, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance with timing screws, free sprung blued steel helical spring with terminal curve and diamond endstone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 70 mm.
