J. M. French, Royal Exchange, London, circa 1860, un-numbered. Very attractive, wooden-cased, eight day going, mantel dock striking and repeating hours on a bell, anchor escapement and pendulum.

C. Rosewood, glazed on four sides and top, front door with inner gilt frame, ornate giit brass carrying handle, gilt-brass bun feet, repeat cord. D. Gilt brass, engraved all over in four different engine-patterns, Roman chapters, blued steel " moon" hands. M. Brass rectangular, fusees and chains for both trains, anchor escapement, brass pendulum, regulation above bob, pendulum holdfast. Signed on dial and movement. In good condition. Dim . 23 x 16 x 15.5 cm. excluding handle.
