E & E. Emanuel, by Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, 101 High Street, Portsmouth and 1 Burlington Garden , London, No. 973, with London Hallmarks for 1861. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased, hall quarter repeating watch with special escapement.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, marked "A.S." (Alfred Stram). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 16"', frosted and gilt, threequarter plate, fusee with chain and maintaining power, 17 jewels, duplex escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring, ruby endstone. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
