C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engine turned, marked "J.O." (James Olivier), hinged silver cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and up-anddown scale. Blued steel "pear" bands. M. 18"', frosted and gilt, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, gilt brass cock engraved with scrolling foliage, diamond endstone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
