C. Five body, massive, "pommes et filets", engineturned with reeded band, marked "RR" (Rober Rowlands). Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and upand-down scale, foliate engraved, with gold cast engraved basket of flowers in the centre and foliate decoration on the border. Blued steel " fleurs de lys" hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt, 13 jewels, partly in screwed settings, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, free sprung blued steel balance spring with double overcoil, diamond endstone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
