Nicole Nielsen & Co., 14 Soho Square, London, No. 10049, with London hallmarks for 1888. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased, keyless watch with Nicole Nielsen patented split seconds chronograph, in original fitted box.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, marked "E.N." (Emil Nielsen), a monogram engraved on the cover. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt three-quarter plate, 17 jewels partly in screwed settings for the going train, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, balance spring with terminal curve and swan neck micrometric index. Split seconds chronograph with patented Nicole Nielsen work beneath the dial with buttons in the band. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
