C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, marked "A.S." (Arnold Schaefli) the cover engraved with the coat-of-arms of the Rev. John Healy, the back with his monogram "J.H.". Gold cuvette with the dedication: Presented to Most Rev. John Healy, D.D. Coadjutor Bishop of Clonfert by Very Rev. James Madden, V.G., 1892. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months of the leap-year cycle, the dates and the running seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18'-, frosted and gilt, 17 jewels in screwed settings for the going train, pointed-tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Repcating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
