Markwick Markham, Recordon, London, No. 7062, made for the Islamic Market, with the London hallmarks for 1801. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel triple cased watch.

C. Outer, double body, glazed, with scallop edge, the bezels with champlevé enamel decoration. Second double body, with scallop edge, bezels with champlevé floral decoration, the back with a finely painted bunch of flowers against a scarlet translucent enamel over engine-turning. Inner double body, bassine, polished, marked "LM." ( Jonah Mince), a large rose-diamond set on the pendant. D. White enamel with Turkish numerals. Gold "heart" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with a mask and scrolled foliage, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
